i am proud of a lot of things.

i have seen a lot and at the ripe age of 28, i feel like i am beyond blessed and have worked my tush off to get to where i am…

….i was a special education teacher for 5 years
….married my best friend
….got my masters in special education
…. sat for and passed the Behavior Analyst Certification Board exam to become a BCBA
….traveled to 9 different countries

i could go on about things i am proud of, but there’s one thing that absolutely is number one on my list.

i am a mama.

i have two beautiful little girls who call me mama..they are the only ones who have heard my heartbeat from the inside + there is one handsome, god-fearing man who gets credit for it all.

i have been on the hunt {since i was pregnant} to find the perfect necklace.  one i could wear proudly that shows off who i am…a mama.
i have wanted a cross bar necklace with the girls names on it for the significance.
a crossbar provides stability and through the ups and downs of motherhood, stability is one thing that the love of a mother provides.

my love for these little girls can’t be put into words… it has only grown since the moment i saw their heartbeats on that ultrasound machine and sometimes feels like it should just be pouring out of my body.

when i found this beautiful necklace over at lisa leonards designs, i knew i had ended my search and am so glad i held out until i found the perfect piece.

when it came in the mail, i was even more impressed with the quality and literally haven’t taken it off since it came… while the girls obviously share the same birthday month, i have two of their birthstones to represent each of them as individuals.
